How we got our start

It started in a living room in New York City in 2016. It all began when we spotted a trend; overpriced, low-quality gear being sold as high end. We knew there had to be a solution. That’s when Montem Outdoor Gear was born.

What makes our product unique

What started out as a trekking pole developed by hikers, for hikers became a passion for developing, and engineering the most ergonomic and innovative outdoor gear. Our mission is to bring you the highest quality gear, for the best prices, with a touch of style (11 colors!), and a lot of ingenuity.

Simply put, we have a passion for the outdoors. We aren't a generic company looking to start a massive business, we just love making gear and getting it into your hands without forcing you to spend a lot of money. We love coming up with new design ideas, colorways, and advancements in our gear.
